Need help with my transmission

I'm a bit confused about my 2015 TDI DSG 4MOTION. I bought it for my daughter, and with about 93k miles on it, i cant find any record of transmission service. I've scheduled my mechanic to do it next week, but i'm unsure if the filter is inside the pan or just the paper DSG filter under the battery box, since there's nothing about it in the manual.

For your 2015 TDI DSG 4MOTION, getting a transmission service usually means you'll need to change out both the DSG filter and the oil pan filter. You can find the DSG filter hiding under the battery box, and the oil pan filter is tucked away inside the transmission pan

Good catch getting it serviced now @dud3perfect, especially with no history at that mileage. @torque4motion is right, there’s the cartridge filter under the battery and the internal pan filter, so it’s worth doing both while you’re in there.
