Storing my car while I'm away

I'll be away on an extended trip, leaving my 2024 Tiguan stored securely in the garage. Should I take the precaution of disconnecting the battery, or just leave everything connected and deal with any problems when I get back? What do you recommend for long-term storage?

For trips that last over a month, make sure to either disconnect the battery or use a trickle charger. It's also wise to add fuel stabilizer, inflate your tires to the maximum PSI, and consider using rodent deterrents to protect your vehicle while it's stored in the garage
