Considering rear strut upgrade for 2017 Tiguan

I've noticed that the rear shocks on my 2017 Tiguan are sagging, and it's making the ride feel a bit too soft for my liking. I'm considering swapping in some GTI or Golf R struts to enhance handling and maybe lower the rear a bit. I've seen that most of the GTI/Golf R struts come unloaded. Has anyone here made this swap before? If so, did you stick with the stock Tiguan springs or go with something different for the lowering? I'd really appreciate hearing about your experiences

I have a 2019 Tiguan SEL and had the same problem last year. The back felt soft, especially with stuff loaded in. I switched to Eibach lowering springs and Bilstein B6 struts. The ride feels way better now, and still comfy.
