Drain holes in the cupholder

So I was driving and went to drive through to get a strawberry milkshake. I placed it on the cupholder, as I should.

however, i noticed that the cup was not properly sealed so it leaked and got drained into these cupholder holes. I cleaned it repeatedly but nothing seems to work, the car now smells horrible because of it. Not sure how i can clean this further to remove that stink!

Try using a syringe or turkey baster to squirt a mix of vinegar and baking soda into the drain holes . This dynamic duo breaks down gunk and smells. If the stink lingers. a few drops of essential oil can help mask it while you figure out the next step.

BUMMER. Follow the steps by @mixed-ba99a9e over there but also maybe consider mine:
First, you soak up the liquid using maybe a sponge or a towel?
Then, just mix soap and water or use all-purpose cleaner damply cleaning the cupholder. Then for the holes, use a Q-tip of course. You can also use white vinegar for odors like 5-10 minutes idle then clean it off.

I would take it to a detailer and let them handle that. You'll have the entire car clean as a whistle so, two birds with one stone
