Warranty doesnt include damages caused by insects and bugs so I had to place our 2022 Tiguan for a/c repairs coz of these pests. My worry now is I might keep spending over $2k coz of this insane issue. Is there a way for me to keep this from happening? Like aftermarket accessories or things i can install maybe?

How frustrating! maybe you can use an air filter ideally with activated carbon, as this can keep the insects away fro mthe ventilation. hopefully this helps so you can avoid the pricey AC repairs!

Airflow pathways are simply haven for tiny critters!
Years ago, I knew some were doing a bit of a DIY hack with fine mesh screens over the air intakes but you'd want something more robust for your Tiguan.
Check with aftermarket auto accessory shops for specifically designed intake filters or screens that fit your model.
Also consider parking in a garage if that's possible and try running your AC at high fan speed regularly to dislodge these invaders!
