My brother's 2015 VW Tiguan Bluemotion doesn't have the 4Motion badge but we're not sure if it still has some rear wheel assist in rough terrain. Does anyone know if these models ever came with hidden AWD setups or if it's all marketing?
If it doesn't say 4Motion, it's almost always front-wheel drive only. Bluemotion was more about fuel economy adjustments rather than traction features. Be sure to take note of that.
Sorry for the slow follow up on this. My brother took a look underneath the rear of his Tiguan. You're correct @sharkosharko, it's front wheel drive with no power going to the back.
