Hi, I've got some issues with the infotainment screen on my 2016 Tiguan, it started freezing randomly and it's not responding. I've tried restarting the car and disconnecting the battery, but the issue is still there. Has anyone had a problem like this and how can i fix it? Thanks.

Yeah, that's a known problem on the 2016 Tiguan from what i know. If restarting and disconnecting the battery didnt work, try a factory reset if the screen still responds at all. If not, it could need a software update or the unit might be on its way out. A dealer or auto electronics shop should be able to fix that

VW should've never put that infotainment system in the Tiguan, it was outdated the day it launched. They prioritized style over function, and owners are stuck paying the price for their bad tech choices.

If modern infotainment systems are just buggy computers in a dashboard, why do we tolerate failures we'd never accept from our phones, shouldn't a $30k car be smarter than a $300 tablet?
