There has been some noise with my AC for the past few weeks thats been getting on my nerves. I have no idea what is causing it but i know it has something with the flap that determines where the air goies so in some modes it's there and for others it goes away. What could be the problem and how much work is it to fix it?

Well, from my experience, it can be from stripped gearing or something else. you need to check it if you want to be sure

Wow I also have a knocking noise but it's not in my AC. It's probably something about a loose/stuck flap. Did you check that already? If your Tiguan is still new then you can maybe take it to the dealer without charge. But based on what I know, if it's an actuator, it's gonna cost over a hundred to replace. Ouch.

I think that the problem might be with the blend door or the actuator that controls the airflow direction in your AC system.

Sounds like a bad blend door actuator, man. In some modes, you will hear that annoying noise when the motor weakens or those gears strip. Depending on your ride, it's not a big task sometimes it's deeper, sometimes it's behind the glove box. I'd start by checking that
