I have been having a misfire issue when my 2009 Tiguan is warming up. What's the reason for this? Doesn't happen when I just start it tho, only when I let it warm before I go. Any input would do. TIA.

Could be a coil pack or injector acting up once things heat up a bit, yuuno thermal expansion can reveal weak spots orr on second thoughts maybe a sensor givng bad readings

Definitely heat related ignition or fuel delivery issue and a host of other things like one of us has mentioned above, and really, don't waste time guessing, get a proper diagnostic scan and fix the root cause before it gets worse.

Or since it doesn't happen at cold start but during warm up, it might also be related to a faulty sensor (like the coolant temp sensor) affecting the air-fuel mix..
